Our mission is to provide a loving environment where children are able to explore and learn about the world around them while developing socially, emotionally, creatively, cognitively, spiritually, and physically. We believe each child learns best through hands on activities. We design our daily schedule with opportunities to build on the natural curiosity of children.
We are a S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) focused preschool. Our curriculum is designed for project based learning using early math and science concepts along with art and literacy. Our goal is to foster a child's critical thinking, creativity, and self discovery.
At NHBP, each child is seen as a unique individual. We believe they should have every opportunity to develop to their highest potential in a loving environment. Furthermore, each child is encouraged to develop a healthy self-image and to discover his/her own unique talents.
Music and Movement class, Chapel , S.T.E.A.M. and More
Each week, students participate in activities outside of the classroom. Children attend a music class where they are invited to sing, dance, play instruments, and use their imagination as they participate in age-appropriate lessons. Our STEAM room is open for students 3 and up to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math activities. Toddlers have a chance to build gross motor skills in our large motor room. Chapel is on Tuesday mornings and led by ministers of New Hope Baptist Church. Each week, children explore biblical truths that will last a lifetime.
SPECIAL GUESTS AND EVENTS
We have special events throughout the year, such as Muffins for Mom, Super Dad's Day, Family Farm Day, Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast, Costume Parade, Scholastic Book Fair, Field Trips, Ice Cream Socials, and more.
Some of our special guests have included local firemen, police officers, Farmer Mary, special guest readers, The Cat in the Hat, Tumble Gym, and many others.
